Hi Mommy
well Ive been in the MTC for about a week now and it has been crazy, i would have never guessed the experiences that i am having right now ha ha, i love it here sooo much, i have 5 roommates with me, 4 of them are going to my mission and the other is going to Houston. My companion is Elder Gingerich from Virginia, he is an awesome companion and is super funny, The four other elders are, Elder Jensen, Elder Hull, Elder Tipton, and Elder Ve'e. Elder Jensen is from aurora Colorado and is very funny, his companion is elder Hull, he is quiet until you get to know him then he has an awesome sense of humor he is from Logan Utah, Elder Tipton is from highland Utah and reminds me of Sheldon off of the big bang theory, needless to say we have a blast, Elder Ve'e is from Oakland California and is currently waiting on a scholarship to Stanford university to go play football, he is a big Samoan and is one of the nicest guys ive ever met. So the past week has been crazy, the whole schedule is awesome, i love every second of it, their is just such an incredible spirit about the MTC, it is incredible, i am so blessed to be able to be here and serving the lord with all of my heart might mind and strength, i love being able to serve, i also was just recently called as the zone leader for my zone here at the MTC, i am so humbled for the opportunity to be able to serve my fellow elders here in the MTC, Mom i got your package, and can i say i didn't even get to enjoy that much of it, because your cookies are just the most amazing thing in the world and so everyone just devoured them. We just started TRC which is an investigator that we have to teach, it was super hard, he wanted nothing to do with the church and he actually started to walk away form us!!!!! he was sooo difficult, then one of his Friends showed up and he started to talk to him, i began to get a little frustrated with him because he wasn't even giving us the time of day, but his friend started to try to convince him to listen to us, and so things started to get better, but just as that started to go, he just got up and left, he said that his wife's birthday was that day, and so he left i was kinda starting to get sad because he wasn't listening to us, but his Friend that came started asking us questions, so we taught him the lesson of the first vision and invited him to ponder and pray about it, he accepted and the spirit was so strong. we have to teach our investigator (Daniel) again and i have faith that we will get through to him this time. I also as the zone leader had an opportunity to give one of my fellow elders, Elder Tipton a blessing, he was feeling really sick and so his companion elder ve'e suggested that he get a blessing, so i was like alright someone will anoint the you will bless him and all will be good, then elder ve'e said. no I'm anointing hes asked that you give him a blessing.........my heart dropped in my chest, i was so nervous, but then i said a prayer for the spirit to help me, and i gave him a blessing it was so awesome to be able to be worthy to bless someone, the power of the priesthood is so awesome!!! I also had to resolve some conflict between two elders, they were having some difficulty with each other, but i was able to councel them to stop pointing fingers and complaining and to just go out and serve each other as well as others, they are now one of the best companionships in my zone it makes me so happy!!!! i love doing the lords work, and being engulfed into it :) send me emials of people that want to hear from me or just have them email me :) i love you all
