so Sorry about that. I felt really rushed beforehand but yeah, i promise i will be better haha. It sounds like you and dad had a wonderful time down in cancun that is so awesome. Glad to hear you are starting to think missionary , and realizing how easy it is to share the gospel. So in answer to your questions

1.  How long were you sick after we dropped you off at the MTC?

         A. i wasn't ever really homesick at the mtc, since i was still in Provo i felt kinda at home and there was so much going on that i couldn't really feel homesick, the time when i felt homesick was my second day in the field, for some reason i just got extremely homesick, but elder Barnes and i talked, and i got over it.

2. What is your favorite way to contact people (ie street, tracking, members).

               A. My favorite way is to street contact but also when the members help it is so much better, because when the members bring someone they automatically have that friendship and foundation in the church so definitely members

3. Have you had any doors slammed in your face yet?

              A. Multiple times, its hard to believe but the rudest people towards us are the inactives and the less actives, when we talk to nonmembers they will here us out, but when we talk to former members or less actives the are so rude and will let us know that they hate us and the church, it is so sad to see how far some people can drift from the truth it breaks my heart.

4. Do you have a dinner appointment for Thanksgiving?

          A. yes we do with a part member family named the Caudle's and we hope to be able to come back and teach the member who isn't whose name is Stephanie.

5. Are the Tuckers that you are living with retired?

       A. No Bishop Tucker (he was the former bishop of our ward and now in the branch presidency at the Spanish branch) is a loan shark hahahaha its funny but that's what he is and hes still going.

6. Do you have the basement to yourselves?

         A. yes we do the whole basement is ours and it is so awesome i will be sending some pictures in other emails.

7. Do you eat breakfast and lunch with them or do you have a kitchen downstairs that you use separately?

             A. We eat breakfast and lunch in the kitchen upstairs and sometimes we eat with them and sometimes separately it depends when we are eating and when they are.

8. What is a funny fact about Elder Barnes?

          A. YOU DONT TOUCH HIS STUFF. And he loves waffle crisp

9. What do you need for Christmas?

         A. Protein, bullet blender, all piano guys CD's you can find and other Christmas and church approved music on an iPod or CD's, whichever is better and ties and sweaters :)

10. Do you want thermal garments?

          A. yes please :)

11. Did you get my letter about our Cancun experience with sharing about the church?

              A. yes that is so awesome that you realized that missionary opportunies are every where and it is so easy to share the gospel i am so proud of you and dad :)

12. you never told us what church was like in the MTC!?!?!?!

             A. It was just like church at home except as zone leaders we sat on the stand with president hatch and he had all of us prepare a 3-5 minute talk then randomly he would choose two people to come and speak in front of the group it was so scary but i never had to.

13. What was the best teaching moment from this past week?

           A. we were teaching and investigator named Nicholas he is 10 and we taught him about the plan of salvation very simply but very powerfully and you could feel the spirit in the room as we spoke it was incredible then we committed him to baptism it was so awesome.

14. Did you get those thank you cards out?

             A. i haven't had time i am so busy all day on p-day and thats the only time i can write them

15.  Mason said you left all your letter writing stuff at the MTC....did you get more?

             A. no i meant i left it at the Tuckers, we were at the stake center so that's what i meant

16. Who have you had cut your hair?  I know you won't be able to last too long without getting it cut 

               A. The barber shop at the MTC, its mandatory so that's the last time i had it cut, but im getting it cut today so we will see how that goes

17.  Does it take you too long to read all the emails that I am forwarding from your friends?  Would it be better if I print them off when I get them Monday nights and mail them to you so that you can read them when you have time during the week?  I also asked Isaac's mom to send me his.

             A. Yes please do that  

18.  Did you get another card for your camera?  I am still mad at myself for sending the ruined one with you......

             A. Yes ive just forgotten it the last two times sorry about that.
