First picture from Moses Lake

Hi mom great to hear from you , ha ha i don't know exactly if i am going to be able to Skype or call at Christmas, ill figure that out in weeks to come. As for what to get Elder Barnes he loves clothing. Sweaters, Ties etc. So that would be your best bet, oh and he loves waffle crisp ha ha. things have been going good here, i kept forgetting to send the pictures via email so this is what we are now going to do, i will send the SD card home you clear it then send it back, i will purchase another and fill it then send it then we will just have a cycle k? So now the questions

1.  What was the best thing you ate at Thanksgiving dinner.
                A. Um we ate breakfast at the Oneill's (a member family, hes a ward mission leader and their family is the best, they feed us whenever we don't have an appointment and they are just the awesomest people ever) and Sister Oneill fed us these cherry ropes, oh my goodness they were amazing. She used to work at a bakery and so they were soooooooo good.

2.  Were you able to teach the non-member of the family you were visiting?
                         A. No they have been sick all week so we will call them today and set up an appointment with them to teach them.

3.  What did you miss most about Thanksgiving at home?
                    A. Just chilling out, our thanksgiving was a regular work day so it was just same ol same ol and i missed just hangin out and chilling with family all day
4.  What were you most glad to miss about Thanksgiving at home :)
                     A. Being with family, i don't miss a lot of things i thought i would, but family i miss a lot, but i try not to think about it because it distracts from the work and if i think about it then im distracted and the spirit leaves so i just don't think about it that often
5.  Have you found anyone that understands all of your movie quotes yet?  Do they join in?
                 A. I don't quote movies anymore, it distracts from the spirit and when the spirit leaves the work cant go on, so we only talk about things pertaining to the lesson and the spirit.
6.  How long will you be with Elder Barnes?
                A. I will be with him till the end of January of next year, or not we don't know he could be transferred this next transfer on the 18th but we think he will stay till January
7.  What are you most looking forward to this coming week?
                A. Elder Barnes and I had a rough week last week, everyone canceled almost every appointment we had, so we decided to evaluate ourselves, we found that some of the things we were doing weren't in accordance with the mission handbook so we  corrected some things rededicated ourselves and things are starting to work out we have multiple appointments and still more coming so im looking forward to what will happen this week
8.  What was the best lesson/testimony sharing that you had this past week?
               A. I had to teach the gospel principles this last sunday and one of our investigators came to it and we talked about agency and how it is an eternal principle. She loved it and the spirit was so strong so that was pretty awesome.
9.  Do you think you will need boots for the winter since you are walking?
                A. Yes
10. What is a favorite scripture you read this week?
                A. D&C 121: 45-46
"45 Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.
46 The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion, and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion, and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever and ever.
11. What was one of the funniest conversations that you had this week?                           A. Brother Oneill is so funny we were talking about dinner and he told us we he was in england on his mission they would eat dinner at this old ladies house on the opposite end of town, then they would pedal as fast as theycould to get home because they had to pee so bad. Then he said, "we had to pee so bad, one time i peed for a minute strait! And i know because i timed it! even counting the little blililiop at he end" hahahahahhaa i died
