Dear Mommy,
So i am so
sorry for not emailing yesterday, we went on a hike for P-day
yesterday, We started at like 9 in the morning and the hike took a whole
5 hours it was a VERY long hike but it was way beautiful and i enjoyed
every second of it, im really grateful to still be in shape and eat
healthy because i was sprinting and or jogging or just had a lot of
energy all the way up the mountain (it could also be that i am used to
living at like 6000 feet above sea level and none else is but hey
whatever) So this week has been so awesome! We had a fun day playing
basketball on p-day as always, then we had a BBQ with the Jessups and
the Childs and some other families that night so that was way fun to see
the ward step uop and fellowship these families that we bring. then on
Tuesday we had a lesson with Amy which was way awesome, she is so
accepting to the gospel and now we just have to work out a few kinks to
get her baptized. Then we Went on Exchanges Yay! I went up to
Leavenworth and Elder Tipton came down to rocky Reach so Wednesday i
spent all day in Leavenworth having a blast with Elder Bowen, he is so
awesome, he is from Panama City Florida and loves the south he is
hilarious. Also while i was up in Leavenworth, Destiny, one of our
investigators, was having an interview down in rocky reach. And since i
was teaching here The Zone Leaders had to interview her, i dont think
that Elder Hull was complaining to much since one of our ZL's trained
him haha. But she was put on date!!!!!! I was so excited! The interview
went really well, she had a concern that she didn't want to be baptized
without her husband but Elder Nelson resolved it and then had a really
cool spiritual experience and put her on date for the 30th of may!!! I
am so excited! of course things go down when i am on exchanges gosh. But
then we had a pretty cool rest of the week. We had Stake conference
this Weekend and Elder Aidukaidas of the Seventy was there!! The one
that spoke in General Conference! It was amazing to hear him speak, he
was sooooooo funny and had the best laugh i have ver heard and he would
crack himself up with his own jokes i loved it. He spoke on the roles
that missionaries and members play in missionary work and what members
could do to help the work progress even faster and how they could
approach their friends non threateningly about church. It was so awesome
to hear him address that because a lot of us weren't really sure who
did what and how haha. I am loving my area nd i am loviing my mission i
coulndnt think of another place on the earth that i would rather be. And
also i talked to elder Philip's parents during stake confrence and we
might have dinner with them one of these nights so ill tell you how that
goes ?'s :)
