HedgeHog and Chair Tower

March 3, 2014
So I hope you have had as good of a week as you did last week.  I sent you a land letter but I am not sure if you have received it yet.  It is getting warmer and warmer here.  We are LOVING the weather but also pray for moisture.  We are expecting Sean and Ami and their kids this weekend for Spring Break.  It should be really fun and B is hoping to get to ride motorcycles (or dirt bikes as he refers to them) with Cade all weekend.  Becky and her kids will be here next weekend so we will have lots of fun hiking and exploring while they are visiting.  Mason has his first baseball game in Farmington against Pedra Vista this Friday.  We are all looking forward to a fun season.  B keeps asking me who is going to coach him when he is in machine pitch this year.  I keep telling him that I was planning on it, then he gets really quiet.  I asked him if he thought I knew enough about the game to coach machine pitch and he just shrugged and changed the subject, LOL.   I told him I coach Easton for two years in machine pitch and I think that eased his apprehensions a bit more....we will see if I am allowed this round LOL.

Questions for you my son:

Ok, here are a few picts and a video that I am SURE you will enjoy.  The dancing is at Jessi's wedding dinner.  They had a DJ and dancing afterwards.  Watch your brothers reaction....It was classic.

Love you lots,  Mom

 Dearest Mommy,
Well It sounds like life is getting very interesting for you back in the homeland, haha. Things are going well here in the frozen north. This week has been ALOT slower than last week. I think that it is because last week we had such a good week, and so it kind of alternates so i was kind of expecting it. We have been trying to find more people to teach because we keep baptizing all of our investigators (ok maybe a good problem to have, but still its a problem) so we have been trying to contact a lot of referrals and potentials, except no one is ever home like ever it is the most annoying thing ever. So we walk around a lot and try to talk to people as much as possible. I have officially now knocked on every single door in my entire area. It is a lame accomplishment, but i have done it ha. We have also been having some troubles with our recent converts. Brother Matthews is now going to jail because of something that he did in his past, and so now he is having to pay for it, he is also having a lot of family stress and such, i just wish that people would be honest in their baptismal interviews, so that our bishop wouldn't have to deal with a lot of this unneeded stress. Bonnie fell off date and  is being very weird right now, she says that she still wants to get baptized, but she has a lot of questions and she has started smoking and drinking again, and when she asked her why she said the usual i miss my husband i miss my old life, but at the very end she said something that really bothered me. She said that she was also feeling a little rebellious and decided to do it. Wait what?!?! rebellious??? That isn't cool, anyways she hasn't really wanted to meet with us and her member fellow shipper Sister Larson and Sister Larson said that she has been getting a weird vibe from Bonnie lately too. so we will just continue to work with her i guess. The weather has been very cold up here. We had a warm spell for about two weeks where we were going out with only a jacket or a sweater. But then the weather man decided to be mean so we had a day of 17 degree weather, without the wind chill followed by a day of 2 inches of snow, its Fantastic!..............NOT. Well not for walking at least haha, looks like the sweater and the huge coat are not done with this elder haha. Elder LaFond is doing great, just the other day we were walking along and we walked by a house that has a gated front yard with a bunch of dongs in it and a HUGE St. Bernard was barking at us from with the walls of safety of the fence,  so it kept barking at us and jumping and putting its front paws on the fence we we came to the gate and it came up and jumped and landed on the gate and busted it open!!! so my first reaction is to grab the gate and shut it so the dog cant come out. So as im doing that, i look up and Elder LaFond is halfway down the street running as fast as he can away from me. It was the funniest thing i have ever seen, i laughed for the next ten minutes about it, and all he kept saying was that it wasn't funny and he could have eaten us hahahaha best thing ever! everything is going great the work is still progressing and moving forward i love it and i love being out here. Question time!
