Dearest Mommy,

Things are going great in the frozen north! This week has been pretty awesome, it was very interesting haha. this week we had kinda a rough week ha. We started off with talking to one of our investigators named Vinnie. He loves talking with the missionaries and praying with us but he doesn't really show any commitment and will just forget about our appointments and so we will usually just meet with him on the fly so its a little frustrating but he is a cool guy and we will continue to try to meet with him and help him witht the best medicine ever.... THE GOSPEL!!!!! haha So then we had dinner with the Stefflers, and they bought us Chico's Pizza now this pizza is a moses lake must apparently, and it is MADNESS i will send pictures but it is crazy! They have so many toppings ugh but it was way fun and we shared a little though about how they can still get a lot out of the scriptures and how through family scripture study they can draw closer as a family. It was great then we had some other lessons with some of our less progressing investigators. On Tuesday we had a zone lunch and we were able to take pictures and make this cool pyramid it was fun, it was way sad to see them all go, i have grown to love all of them and to see them leave was sad but we got new elders and sisters and they are awesome! Now im an old fart in Moses Lake its funny haha. But we visited Bonnie and was able to find out why she was being like she was, she was so confused as to what was going on, her sister was pulling her one way and her kids were bulling her another way and we were pulling her our way obviously and so she didn't know where to go and what she wanted she only knew what everyone else wanted for her. So we told her to pray and to find out what heavenly father wanted her to do and to get the spirit back into her home and into her life it was way cool. We began to to the Plan of salvation but then i had the feeling to talk about something else and that just opened the whole can of worms and we were able to resolve all of her concerns it was so cool. Then the worst happened, right after that appointment, Elder LaFond started feeling sick but we went to our dinner appointment anyway. But while we were at dinner Elder LaFond had to excuse himself from the table and went into the bathroom. He came back extremely pale, thats when i knew we needed to go home. Haha he had puked in the members toilet, haha so we spent the next day inside whilest my dear companion puked his guts out, he vomited about 7 times during the night. I felt so bad for the poor guy, so i cleaned out his puke bucket (once in the middle of the night, and again in the morning) then i cleaned his sheets and made him breakfast so he didnt have to get up. Ha he made the comment that i would make a very good housewife( i don't know ho w i felt about that one so i didn't punch him, that and he was sick) so i stayed inside the whole day calling people so i could get our OYMS for the day and went on a mini exchange with elder knight so we could go to appointments that i had during the day haha it was fun (not really i was stir crazy all day) ha he slept until about 3 in the afternoon and then felt better. Then the next day since he felt better we went to a Doctrine of Christ training for the trainers and trainee's and that was way awesome i was able to see Elder Hull from my MTC district so that was awesome the training was way cool. Saturdaywe did nothing but plan, we had a zone meeting from 9-1 it was way long but they did feed us breakfast which was cool. Then we had lunch at 1and then after that we had weekly planning so basically we did that till dinner haha but we met with some investigators after that and then went home. Sunday was frustrating because we had no investigators show up to church and so we spent the whole afternoon contacting them and asking why they didnt come then to make things worse as we were walking down the road a green truck passed by and said some really bad stuff to us about our church then they pulled into a gas station and flipped around so they could drive right beside us and keep saying stuff to us. I have never had to have more self control in my life to just keep walking as this complete stranger insulted everything i believed in, my family and my god. Finally we were able to go into a store and he drove away, ive never felt so sad in my entire life that someone could say something like that to me. I now know exactly what the savior felt as he walked by the Pharisees. It was horrible but we kept moving forward and kept doing what we needed to do. I am so sad that some people just dont understand and can believe such horrible things about us. But i know that what i am doing is right and that my father in heaven is proud of me and loves me so much i KNOW this church is true and i will defend it until the day i die. But anyways question time haha

     A. Yes, it sgoing great i love it!

2.  How is Bonnie doing?  Do you still meet with her?

     A. See letter but alot better and yes we still do haha i love her so much 

3.  What has been the hardest thing you had to do this week?

     A. see letter

4.  What has been the most inspirational?

     A. seeing how the spirit can work through imperfect unworthy me to bring about the lords miracles 

5.  What advice do you have for your teenage cousins (and brothers)?

     A. Never compromise what you believe and what you know, over something that you cant control

6.  What kind of service have you been involved in lately?

     A. we chopped down a tree!!!!!!! it was way fun! i loved It!

7.  Have you seen the Mormon Message "Testimony of the Book of Mormon" by Elder Oaks (I think)?  We watched it with the Elders and it is really neat.

     A. YES!!!!!!! i love that one!

8.  Have you written to tell me about Elder Phillips uncle and your pant size?

     A. yes and yes 

9.  What do you wish people would write to you about more?

     A. what missionary experiance are going on at home and with you

10.  How was your Zone Conf (I think that is what you said you were having soon)?

     A. it was good and we are having interview with president in a little bit im so exicited!
