Hello Everyone! Sorry about last week, we had ALOT of people wanting to email and not very many computers, so reluctantly i had to wait all day to get on a computer and then when i could actually get on i had about 5 minutes to type anything so i didn't get to type anything at all ha. But this week i promise to do better. This week was a interesting one on Monday i had to say goodbye to one of my very good if not the best friend  Tuesday i went on exchanges with Elder Spencer he is a very interesting elder from Maryland, his family moved around a lot because his dad was in the military so he didn't stay in one area to long. We had a zone training meeting on Tuesday as well we talked about how we can improve and be better at member dinners and do better with talking with everyone. Then on Tuesday we talked with a lot of people. We tracted in a very wealthy area which was ok. Most of the people were nice but didn't ant anything to do with religion, but still gave us water and wished us luck but no one wanted to hear what we had to say :( oh well, we cant force anyone to listen or do anything. On Wednesday we went and talked to Johnathan, Maria wasn't there because she now has a full time job at the school district as a person who goes into classrooms and makes sure that they are doing their jobs so we talked with just Johnathan, we found out that he is a little more stand offish towards talking about religion and doesn't really want to talk about it so we tried but he didn't really want to talk about it. Then we went and talked with a few of our other investigators, didn't really get to talk with them it was more like oh hi and then they would give us some excuse that they couldn't stay and chat and that they had to go somewhere which was super lame ugh i don't like it when people tell us that we can come back and talk to them and then we show up and they just dipped out and left us out to dry. But then we went to eat dinner with the Riggs at Red Robbin, They are one of the coolest members ever! they live so far away from us but apparently they are still in our ward boundaries for some reason so its weird, they have to drive 45-60 minutes to get to church every Sunday, talk about dedication ha so that was way cool, Brother Riggs had some really funny stories from his mission so it was way cool to hear those. After dinner we went and tried by a few people. On Thursday we had service almost all day, we are working at the Iwaasa's helping them re-landscape there entire yard, we worked with and awesome guy named Brandon who isn't a member but we get to have awesome discussions about church and such. He was a crazy Catholic kid who didn't care about anything and was really into drugs and partying and such and then he came crashing down and now he is married and has two kids and is trying to be a good man and be the best dad for his sons, its so cool because he tells us every time that he loves working with us and that he feels better every time he interacts with us so its awesome to be able to talk about the church to him and uplift him in anyway possible and he is so awesome, he wakeboards and surfs and is so good and has offered us a couple times to take us out and it is SOOOOOOO tempting but we cant so its all good. We worked with him until 3 then we went home and ate and prepared for the baptism that we were going to! The baptism was so cool! Mckenna was so happy and excited and nervous it was so awesome the spirit was soooooo strong, its at that moment that you feel that the church is so true and that this is the way to happiness. It was a great night. Then on Friday we were able to help him again all day it was hard work but sometimes its nice to get out of the shirt and tie and help someone physically and maybe not so spiritually. Then that night we went and talked with Jay and Traci and figured out that they were replacing a gate so guess what we did all of Saturday? That's right we built not only a gate but also part of a fence that was horribly done haha it was great. Then that night a recent convert came up from Hermiston to visit Elder Layden, so he took us to a Japanese restaurant we had such a great time and were able to talk with him. but yeah that was the week! I wanted to thank everyone for writing me and sending me letters i know that i don't always respond but thank you so much for writing me and i will try to be better about writing back!
