Dearest Mommy,
So
this week has been very interesting ha and a trial of faith, We are
starting to run out of people to teach and finding time to fill up or
schedule, because we are stuck on the peninsula, when a appointment
falls through we usually tract but it has almost gotten to the point
where i have knocked on every house at least 2 or even 3 times. Ha not a
good thing, it just seems that everyone that we talk to now either
knows who we are and tell us some ridiculous story about who we really
are, or we meet someone that already belongs to a church and doesn't
want to hear anything that we have to say, or some people just don't
want to listen. Its a little frustrating when you do everything you can
to progress the work but it just doesn't move. We were able to meet with
the Delacruz's and talk with them about what they want our meetings to
go, they are slow but they have real intent and are really trying to
find out if what we have been teaching them is true, so that is really
good, we have found one new investigator, Maria, she has talked to
missionaries before and is very accepting but apparently she knew some
Mormons who were on her street and apparently the dad could do whatever
he wanted to his daughters because he was Mormon........yeah we cleared
that one up reeeeeeeal fast. but he sad new s is that she is moving to a
different ward :/ not cool but happy that now she is investigating the
church. Our on date for the 19th, Wendy, she had knee surgery before we
met her and she was recovering, but apparently she fell and hurt it
again so we weren't sure if she would be able to get baptized then, but
we found out that she is ok and doesn't have to go back in and get
surgery on it again, so we are all good haha. Then the worst thing in
the world happened........I GOT SICK!!!!!! ugh i hated every second of
it, on Wednesday night after we had eaten at a members house, i started
to feel a little sickly in the stomach and then when we got home i
wasn't feeling good at all, i couldn't sleep and i finally got to the
point where i was in the bathroom praying to heavenly father to let me
puke and just get it over with, so it did and that next day wasn't any
better i couldn't really sleep because my stomach was still hurting just
not pukey, but i just layed there in pain and wanting to die, the next
couple of days it got a little better but i was still feeling sickly,
but finally on Sunday i felt better but it was miserable ugh i hate
begin sick on the mission, you feel useless. but then conference was
there and it made it all better, i loved all of it it was the most
inspiring 10 hours of my life!!!!! Then again i might just be saying
that because im on a mission anyways, it was so awesome! I filled up
like 17 pages in my study journal from it ha it was great. But things
are still going transfers are in like 2 weeks so a little excited and
nervous to see where i go haha, but questions,
1. Did you get my letter about Carol yet?
A. no but looking forward to it
2. What was your favorite talk(s) from Conference?

A. yeah they are so awesome, all of our leaders are down to earth and not power crazy haha they are great guys
7. Did you know them from before they were in charge?
A. no, they all came as ZL's and DL
8. Have you had any more scary old lady greetings or drive by insults?
A. um we were walking by and these people were having like a
redneck beer fest in there front yard and one of the guys saw us stood
up, pointed his hand like a Nazi and yelled, hail Satan!! and then he
proceeded to taunt us by saying come have a beer and we can talk about
you child molester of a prophet joe smith, not very fun
9. How are the Delacruz's feeling about being baptized?
A. they said that they have to read and pray about our church and
find out if its true, but if they get there answer then they will.
I love you :)
