Hey family, well just another day in the life of a missionary, This week has been very interesting. We started off the week by going out and trying to contact a whole lot of referrals that we had gotten the weeks previous and it was a no go we tried all over the 3rd ward area (where we are assigned) and nothing, they either weren't home or they just didn't really want to hear about the gospel and they just wanted to bash with us (argue about how we were wrong and they were right and trying to prove it by using the bible) which usually backfires because i just disprove everything they say by using other scriptures in the bible and pointing out very key things that they are overlooking, then they get mad call me and Elder Barnes alot of rude names and say alot of really rude things about the church, then slam the door in our faces. Hence i just just shut my mouth now and wish them a good day and just walk away. Tuesday was new years eve so we went around and were able to meet some really cool people, all of them have not been baptiezed! (Nacho Libre Voice) haha so we were able to share some really cool things with them. Then we had to be in by six because of new years and they don't want all of the missionary's out with all of the drunks and party animals. So we went back and watched a devotional given by John Bytheway, its called, "The Best Three Hours of The Week," Its all about how we can make church a very awesome and spiritual experience, it was way awesome i loved it, then we just chilled wrote some letters and went to bed, exciting i know. On New Years day we were out and about again, we were finally able to contact a less active named sister Kelly whom we have been trying to contact since the day i got here. She hasn't been to church in a long time and so we talked to here and tried to become friendly so she will like us, then we can invite her back to church and that would be awesome!!! We were also able to contact a referral from some of the sisters of a couple named Kyle and Paige, we sat down and talked with them and became acquainted, but then they had to leave so we are going to go visit them this week and hopefully have a lesson. 10 year old Nicholas is making his final steps towards baptism and he is going to be baptized this Saturday!!! I am so happy for him and he already has an awesome testimony, he will make a great missionary one day. We are helping Andria, Bonnie and two other investigators, the Matthews towards baptism on the 25th, hopefully everything goes smoothly and we are able to help them reach that goal because that will be awesome! The Stefflers are moving very slowly but they are moving. They have real intent so when the become members they will be very strong, and as long as they are moving i don't care how long it takes them, as long as they are coming closer to Christ, but they will be baptized in February, mark my words haha. Everything is going great, i miss you all and hope everything is going great!!

well mom this is awkward i just sent you an email so i will answer your questions haha.
1. Do you have a set time frame that you email on Pdays so that I don't miss getting an email to you?
A. Between 10 and 12 obviously haha
2. When you facetimed us who visited with us when you went to the bathroom? (Brother O'Neil, Elder Barnes, and ? Was is sister O'Neil or their daughter? Dad and I have different guesses)
A. Daughter haha that was Meghan
3. Elder Philips said that it snowed and got REALLY cold up there. Did your boots fit and have you had to use them?
A. yes and yes they have helped but it hasnt really snowed so hevent really used them haha
4. Is Nicolas still doing good and ready for Saturday? How exciting for him and his family. B made a little gift for him that I will mail tomorrow.
A. yes, everything is set and ready for baptism, i am so excited for him!!!!!!
5. Did you and Elder Barnes get your last little package?
A. yes and theat is the best gift EVER!!! thank you so much and Elder Barnes says your the best haha
6. Just a thought that you should send a quick thank you (email or BRIGHT card) to those who sent you something so that they know you got it.

7. What did you and Elder Barnes do for New Years Eve and Day?

8. How is the sister that is on date for the end of the month doing?
A. there are two, Andria is doing good we still have to sort out a few things but shes doing great and Bonnie is doing well. she has cut down on smoking and drinking so that is entirely possible for her to be baptized in two weeks
9. What was your favorite message that touched you from testimony meeting yesterday?
A. We had a recent convert get up and bare his testimony and it was so powerful i nearly broke into tears it was so awesome to hear him say that he knows all of these things and it has blessed his life so much
10. Have you and Elder Barnes gone out on the frozen lake again? PLEASE be careful (but the pictures will be cool :)
A. i sent you a hand written letter on new years it should have gotten there by know but it has like 50 pictures on it and descriptions so yeah hahaha
